From the time I was a little girl and received my first camera, I have always loved taking photos. I would set up my stuffed animals and toys and make my family pose together, just to take a photo. I loved taking photos of flowers, landscapes and other inanimate objects. Looking back on those photos now, they were not very good. To think of all the money my poor parents spent getting film developed only to find out that I didn’t use the flash for the entire roll or that my finger was in the way of what would have been “a really good shot”!
I have continued over the years to take photos mostly for personal enjoyment; something I could one day hang in my own home. My husband and I have always wanted to adorn our walls with original artwork and photography.
I have decided to take my love of photography and emerging talents to a different level. This is what The Photo Den is all about. It is a place to showcase my photography and catch the eye of potential buyers. It is also a place where I welcome advice and professional criticism.
